Worship Ministry

The Worship ministry of Calvary Baptist exists to magnify, exalt, and glorify the Almighty, Triune God, encourage the church through times of worship and to equip members in serving God and the Church through the gifts He has given us.

Worship Team

The worship team has the privilege in leading the congregation in worship. Our prayer is that as we worship, we would be able to lead people to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. The worship team consists of lead vocalists and praise band.

Team members are those who have a heart for leading worship and are good team players.  They are encouraged to practice a personal daily quiet time as well as ongoing participation in Bible study, prayer, giving and support of the  ministries of the church. Each team member must make the commitment to offer their best and submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit as they lead worship.  Leading worship is more than just musical ability and performing, it’s about God’s anointing and surrendered hearts.

Audio/Visual Team

Calvary’s Audio/Visual team serves to provide all forms of technical support with computers (office & assemblies), projectors, sound equipment, and video production. They also provide presentation assistance during numerous events, including worship services, fellowships, ministry and committee meetings, and special events, both sponsored by Calvary and in hosting events conducted by outsides agencies.

The A/V Team is made up of lay volunteers, several members deep in each specialty, and participates regularly in training or upgrade opportunities.
