Calvary Baptist Church is dedicated to teaching foundational biblical truths to as many children as possible. Our children's program is developed to reach out to the pre-school and grade school children of Arcadia and Desoto County. Our goal is to reach every kid that God allows and equips us to minister to, and to show the love of Jesus Christ to them and their families.

Check In System
Our Calvary Kids ministry uses a check-in system to ensure the safety of each child while they are on campus. Each parent needs to check-in his or her child before Nursery, Life Group, Worship Service, or Wednesday Evening.
Nursery & Preschool
Nursery and Preschool are available for your little ones. We strive to give your child the utmost care while you are here. All workers are screened and approved for caring for your little ones. We want to provide each child with a caring and safe environment while teaching them that they are special and that God loves them. Our nursery and preschool classes are located in the Mark building.
Cry Room/Mother's Room
This room is available for mothers with children under the age of one during our worship service. It is the first room located across from the cafe' with the double glass doors. A greeter at the welcome area will be happy to assist you with information and direction.
Life Group
Beginning at 9:30am every Sunday morning, children have the opportunity to connect with Jesus Christ and learn more about Him, and what it means to be a Christian. During Life Groups, children will be taught foundational biblical truths by experienced adult leaders, giving them the basic foundation for an authentic faith in Jesus Christ.

AWANA (Wednesday Evenings)
Our Wednesday evening kids ministry helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our AWANA program offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community. We begin every Wednesday night at 6:00pm and end around 7:30pm. Please feel free to register your children and their friends by contacting the church office @ 863-494-4345.

KIDS CAMP 2025
Word of Life Camp is for kids completing 3rd - 5th grade. Campers at The Coast will experience high energy activities, form lifelong friendships, and make defining decisions about their faith as they spend their days worshipping, studying biblical truths, and having a ton of fun in the Florida sun!
