Calvary Kids
Calvary Baptist Church is dedicated to teaching foundational biblical truths to as many children as possible. Our children's program is developed to reach out to the pre-school and grade school children of Arcadia and Desoto County.
Our goal is to reach every kid that God allows and equips us to minister to, and to show the love of Jesus Christ to them and their families.
Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School is a free summer program created to minister to children from 5 years old to 5th graders. This program is open to the families of Desoto and surrounding counties. Our prayer is that we can present the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many children as possible and to help parents establish a Biblical belief in Jesus Christ. You can sign up for the program through the contact information at the bottom of this page or you can print and fill out the registration form below and turn in to the church office.
Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our program offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
Awana begins every Wednesday night at 6:00 pm and ends around 7:45 pm. Please feel free to register your children and their friends by contacting Karen Neads, Teresa Conerly or Chad Williams. Their contact information can be found by calling the church office @ 863-494-4345.
Kids Encounter is an opportunity for children to hear the word of God in a child friendly atmosphere.
Children are dismissed from the adult worship service and are directed by an adult leader to the children's worship area. There they will have the opportunity to corporately experience the love of Jesus Christ and Encounter God through Christ centered bible lessons.
Kids Connection is during the Adult Sunday School hour (9:30 am -10:30 am) every Sunday morning. This gives the children the opportunity to connect with Jesus Christ and learn more about Him, and what it means to be a Christian.
During Kids Connection children will be taught foundational biblical truths by experienced adult leaders, giving them the basic foundation for an authentic faith in Jesus Christ.
