Praise Team

The praise team has the privilege in assisting leading the congregation into the presence of the Lord each week during our Sunday morning worship services. The worship team consists of both vocalists and instrumentalists. The number vocalists range from four to six. The foundational instruments are piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. Other instruments will be added and used when needed. A basic level of musical proficiency is expected. Rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings at 8:30am. Auditions are required to be a part of this ministry. A set of guidelines have been set in place in order that each member understands what is expected of them.

Team members are those who have a heart for leading worship and are good team players. It’s important that worship team members are able to follow the direction of the worship leader. Each team member must make the commitment to offer their best and submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit as they lead worship. Leading worship is more than just musical ability and performing, it’s about God’s anointing and surrendered hearts.
